Montreal Sour

– 1.5 oz  MVodka

– 0.5 oz  Madison Park Breakfast Gin (Earl Grey tea, infused)

– 0.75 oz  Apple juice

– 0.75 oz  Fresh lemon juice

– 0.75 oz  Homemade sesame syrup *

– Sparkling water

Garnish : Fresh apple
Glass : Highball
Steps

1- Pour all ingredients into a glass filled with ice, except for the sparkling water.
2- Top with sparkling water and mix with a spoon.
3- Garnish with a fresh slice of apple.

* Sesame syrup:

– 250 ml Water
– 250 g Sugar
– 1 TBSP Sesame seeds

Steps:

1-Lightly toast sesame seeds in a pot before adding water.
2- Bring water and toasted seeds to a boil, then reduce heat.
3- Add sugar to pot.
4- Stir with a spoon to completely dissolve sugar.
5- Let the toasted sesame seeds infuse while simmering for 7 to 9 minutes.
6- Let cool, strain and pour into a sterilized jar. Cover and refrigerate.
