Carefully crafted from premium local ingredients, the 80% corn and 20% rye mash bill is aged for a minimum of three years in ex-Bourbon barrels. The artisanal distillation, blending and bottling are done by the master distiller and his family who are the founders of 1769 Distillery in Montreal.

Distiller’s notes:
A young Canadian Whisky that is rich, rounded and smooth. Sweet aromatics with a hint of spice. A medium-body with a good length and buttery finish.
Tasting notes:
Rich aromas of creamy caramel, sweet toffee, hints of vanilla, dried fruits with a delicate veil of oak and spices. On the palate, hints of toasty wood, brown sugar, caramelized corn, cinnamon, spice and rye.
Pairing notes & cocktail suggestion:
Enjoy as a digestif with dessert such as an apple crisp or a dark chocolate mousse cake. Sip over ice or with a splash of soda.
Maple Old Fashioned: 2 oz 1769 Canadian Whisky, 0.5 oz maple syrup, 2 drops Angostura bitters. Stir for 10 seconds in a mixing glass filled with ice. Strain into an Old Fashioned glass filled with ice. Express an orange zest over the cocktail and serve.
