AZURA Gin, named after the Goddess of dusk and dawn, is distilled using premium ingredients, then infused with butterfly pea flower to give it a beautiful indigo blue colour. A drinking as-well-as visual experience as the rich, clear blue turns to a mauve-pink colour with the addition of tonic water or citrus.
Created by the two sons of 1769 Distillery’s co-founders, Azura gin is proudly distilled and bottled by the family at their distillery located in LaSalle!

Distiller’s notes:
Distilled with a unique blend of 7 botanicals and citrus: juniper berries, coriander, orris root, angelica root, calamus root, cardamom, licorice root and zests of orange and lemon. This gin is infused with butterfly pea flower prior to bottling which imparts a gorgeous shade of indigo blue and a slight earthiness.
Tasting notes:
A juniper forward dry gin with bright notes of citrus. On the palate, piney juniper berries, with a pleasing hint of sweetness and a slightly earthy finish thanks to the combination of botanicals used in the distillation and the final infusion of the butterfly pea flower.
Pairing notes and cocktail suggestion:
Enjoyed as an aperitif in cocktails or mixed with a premium tonic. Pairs well with smoked salmon canapés.
Lychee Bluetini: In a mixing glass with ice, stir 2 oz of Azura gin, 0.5 oz of white vermouth, 0.25 oz of lychee juice, 2 dashes of lavender bitters. Filter into a martini glass and garnish with a lemon zest.
